I'm a Baltimore based creative problem solver with over 15 years of professional experience building sustainable digital products. As a UX Design specialist, I combine a passion for research and analysis with a refined visual aesthetic. I received classical design training from the Maryland Institute college of Art, earning a BFA in 2007 and further expanded my education earning an MFA from Towson University in 2012. I'm currently pursuing my MBA from Morgan State University with a focus on digital marketing.

UX Design

My journey from interactive design to UX design has been a rewarding transformation. Beginning with creating visually appealing interfaces, I've now evolved to prioritize user-centric experiences through in-depth research and thoughtful interaction design. This progression allows me to craft products that not only look great but also resonate deeply with users, ultimately enhancing their interactions and satisfaction.

Higher Education Teaching

I have the privilege of teaching graphic design and web design at Towson University for over a decade, I am truly fulfilled by the role I play in shaping aspiring designers' journeys. Witnessing their growth from novices to skilled professionals is incredibly rewarding. Through sharing my industry insights, design methodologies, and real-world experiences, I aim to equip each student with not only technical skills but also a deep appreciation for the creative process and the ability to make a meaningful impact in the design world.

Fun Facts

Outside the realm of design, I find solace and creativity in a diverse range of hobbies. Woodworking is my way of crafting tangible beauty, shaping raw materials into functional pieces that reflect both artistry and practicality. Making beats allows me to explore a different kind of rhythm, blending sounds and creating melodies that resonate with my emotions. And on the green, I embrace the challenge of golf, where every swing is a metaphor for precision and control.
